18th Century Bilston Enamel Patch Box
A very fine example of an 18th century South Staffordshire Bilston Enamel Patch Box. Made circa 1760.

Beautifully made on a rich blue ground and white interior. Motto on hinged cover reads "UNTO THE END I LOVE MY FRIEND". Square in shape with bombe sides.
In EXCELLENT condition with no damage to the enamel or the mirror inside the box. Strong hinge, shuts perfectly.
