This is a lovely Antique Knife Sharpener from the late 1800s or early 1900s. It would be a great gift for someone who enjoys cooking.

It was made by EM Dickinson of Sheffield. EM Dickinson were specialist knife manufacturers and were active from 1889 to 1923. It has EM Dickinson Sheffield England imprinted on it.

The handle is ornate with a Silver tone metal end and collar. The handle is an early plastic. The steel sharpener has ridges to sharpen blades..

The handle is smooth and the silver tone metal has just the right amount of tarnish to show the pattern. The sharpener has some deterioration but it shouldn’t affect it’s use.

It measures 34cm in length (13 3/8 inches).

Delivery Estimates

Orders placed in the UK are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 or Special Delivery depending on the order value. Special Delivery is next working day before 1pm.

Royal Mail's delivery aim is 3-5 working days to Europe and 6-7 working days to the rest of the world. Please note some countries still have delays to their mail services due to Covid-19.

At busy times such as Christmas items can take longer to be delivered. Items may also be delayed in Customs, and although this doesn't happen often it can hold up a delivery.

Beeches Vintage is not responsible for delays in delivery once an order is dispatched.

Returns
We want you to be happy with your purchase so we offer a money back guarantee (less original postage costs) on all orders. A request to return an item needs to be made within 3 days of receiving
the order.

Items must be returned in the same condition as purchased and are sent back at the buyer's cost.
Refunds are issued when the item is received by us.
