This is an antique log box, an English, Art Nouveau, fireside scuttle in coppered finish dating to c.1920.
A pleasing fireside storage box presented in good antique condition
Suitable for coal, logs and kindling or helpful when removing ash
Benefiting from a removable inner tin sleeve with handles
Attractive, pressed floral spray design to hinged lid
Embossed 'LOGS' flanked by a pair of flowers to the front panel
Hammered finish and standing upon bun feet
Shell shaped carry handles to either end
