Arts & Crafts Copper & Iron Firescreen Lion
We are delighted to offer for sale this superb Arts & Crafts Movement Firescreen in Copper and Wrought Iron. The screen is shield shaped and bears a large repousse rampant lion, very similar to the rampant lion in the Scottish Standard, so it may be Scottish. There is a turned copper bar in the centre of the handle and two copper flowers to either side of the screen, held in place by two large copper ball bolts. The wrought iron surround of the shield is ornamented with copper ball studs.

Maximum depth: 9" - 22.85cm
Materials: Copper and Wrought Iron
Condition: Excellent for its age. One of the copper studs around the shield has been replaced with a smaller metal one, which has been painted to match the others.
