'Squirrel Nutkin' is one of Beatrix Potter's best-known characters. This is an example of one the earlier Beswick models by Arthur Gredington. It is model No. 1102 and is in the first colour variation. This model has an oval gold back-stamp (BP2) and was first issued in 1948. It is in very good condition and measures 9.5cm in height.
