Pretty Chamberlain tea bowl and saucer of waisted, shanked shape with double ribs to the tea bowl. Painted with dark brown and gold flowers and with a gold and brown dotted band, the pattern is described in the pattern book as "brown & gold sprigs & wreath", pattern number 258 which is painted in gold under the saucer. c.1800-1805.

The tea bowl measures 5.8cm (2 1/4") high and 8.7cm (3 7/16") wide. The saucer measures 3.2cm (1 1/4") high and 14cm (5 1/2") wide.

Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. Minimal surface wear to the tea bowl, a few small wear marks to the gilded band on the saucer and very minor wear to the rim. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
