Scottish Handwritten in English onto Laid Handmade Paper, Disposition of Towns and Lands, Houses, Yards, Tofts, Crofts Outsets, Insets, etc., lying within the Parish of Torque and the Sheriffdon of Aberdeen. Between, John Laing residing near Perth to Thomas Laing and Johana Laing his wife, dated 3rd May 1808.

Has 3 of the RARE Nineteen Shilling Embossed Duty Stamps.

Page 1, Embossed Nineteen Shilling Duty Stamp together with Embossed Ten Shilling Duty Stamp, plus a 2 Shilling Paper Tax Duty Franking.
Page 5 Embossed Nineteen Shilling Duty Stamp and a 2 Shilling Paper Duty Tax Franking.
Page 9 Embossed Nineteen Shilling Duty Stamp and a 2 Shilling Paper Tax Duty Franking.

The Nineteen Shilling Stamp is dated 1804 and was only used in Scotland. There is no record of any other die or date. Due to personal reasons 'Wayside Mews and Collectables' will be unable to fulfil any orders for the immediate future, this will include the period up to St Valentines Day 2023.
