A dish made in the late Meiji period by the most famous satsuma maker, Kinkozan illustrating a man dancing for a lady. It features Japanese workmanship of the highest order (please see second photograph with the pen nib to illustrate how fine the painting is). The finest strokes were made using a single rat's hair. Has the Kinkozan mark to the rear.
