Mid 19th Century Giltwood Pier Mirror gilt gold Regency %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A striking mid-19th century giltwood pier mirror of lovely proportions in the Regency taste, c.1860.

The mirror is surmounted by a wide breakfront cornice above a raised central foliate decoration bordered by gilded spheres, the whole above two cluster columns framing the bevelled glass plate.

The mirror looks to have been re-gilded as such the gilding is in a very good condition throughout. The bevelled mirror plate has some light scratches but also remains in a very good condition overall.
