A charming oval M.O.P and ormolu mounted Box which opens to reveal a mirror inside the lid.The top has a Wreath shaped ormolu mount and within id a Portrait of a young Girl.This little box could be used for small items of Jewellery,was possibly originally used as a Patch Box.Dimensions are:-5.5cms x 4cms x 2cms. Possibly French. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antiques Emporium,Lewes,E.Sussex and also The Arcade, The Corn Exchange,The Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells..If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in either Shop.
