The Lord Bury Telescope , 4 Draw, by J.H Steward No 588. Early serial number, c1860.

An early, and fine, example of the famous Lord Bury telescope made by J H Steward, London.

In fine optical condition. All lenses are in fine condition, the shagreen leather outer casing is in perfect condition. The telescope focuses perfectly and all the tubes fit together well and are beautifully engineered.

The telescope measures 33" when fully extended.

Makers name is engraved on both the tube and also on brass plaque on the leather clad main barrel. All major credit and debit cards accepted.
