A really fabulous example of these highly sought-after and hard to find Binoculars / Opera Glasses with three lenses changed by the wheel at the side and indicated across the bridge labelled " Theatre ", " Field " and " Marine ".

There isn't a manufacturer mark but these are usually made by LeMaire of Paris the eye piece is marked by the English retailer, Hutchinson, Sutherland.

They have been painstakingly professionally polished to create a great looking instrument, all in excellent working condition (a couple of minor dings commensurate with age). They come with an old leather case, I don't think it is the original, but works well to protect the brass finish. 4 1/2" wide x 2" x 3 1/4" extending to 4 1/8" the case measures 5 1/4" x 4 1/2" x 2 3/4".
