Victorian Pocket Mountaineers Barometer/ Thermometer. A fantastic little piece for any collector or climbing enthusiast. The dual Barometer and Thermometer are encased in brass with a glass cover. The Thermometer has been skillfully cuved around the lower part of the face. The dial has nice clean numerals. The maker Lennie and the city Edinburgh can be seen to the upper centre of the face. Lennie was a high quality optician and Instrument maker based in the Scottish Capital and established in 1840.The piece is in good condition with only age related signs of wear and comes in its original metal box. A wonderful item.
