An early 1900s, novelty, silver plate pin cushion, in the form of a roller skate.The pin cushion has an integral tape measure with measurements in both metric and imperial. As can be seen from the photos, the first 3 inches of the tape measure is missing. The tape measure still pulls out and winds in, but obviously due to age, this has to be done carefully to avoid damage to the winder.
The silver plate is worn in areas, and the wheels have aged (as can be seen) they do not turn, but this is how they have been designed on the pin cushion.
The pin cushion measures approx 2 3/4 ins (7 cm) long, by 1 1/2 ins (4 cm) high, by 3/4 ins (2 cm) wide, it has no restoration, and the cushion is original.
